THE ARIZONA WE HAVE

Civic and community health are two of the goals that Arizona citizens have identified as critical to the state’s future. A key asset is veterans. Their participation in volunteer work, civic organizations and charitable contributions all exceed statewide averages and often exceed national averages for veterans.

ATTENDING PUBLIC MEETINGS

The statewide average for all Arizonans is 5.3%. The national average is 8.2%.

OTHER NEWS
78% Arizona veterans who vote “frequently” in local elections, compared to 54.4% of non-veterans. Nationally, 59.5% veterans under the age of 50 and 78.4% of veterans over the age of 50 vote frequently in local elections.
