Why Some Schools with Latino Children Beat the Odds … and Others Don’tThe Center for the Future of Arizona’s research study “Why Some Schools with Latino Children Beat the Odds … and Others Don’t” provides the answer.

The study, published in 2006, found six keys to success in schools where student achievement was better than expected when compared to students in similar schools.

In 2007 the Center for the Future of Arizona created the Beat the Odds Institute to implement the findings of the research study. Its Beat the Odds School Partners program provides training, assistance and support to Arizona K-12 principals in applying the six keys to success at their campuses.
