A new center study, “Everybody’s Problem: A Closer Look at Arizona’s High School Graduation Rate,” finds that graduation rates for all of Arizona’s ethnic groups, including the majority White population, trail those of other states. A comparison of Arizona and Texas—which share similar demographics and a border with Mexico—shows that Texas consistently outperforms Arizona. (3/14/2007)
