The center:
Provides data and recommendations to Arizona education leaders and public policy makers on topics such as high school graduation rates and goals
Develops reports based on its research to promote understanding, debate and improved educational outcomes for Arizona students
Coalesces thinking and action around research-based solutions such as the center’s Beat the Odds School Partners Program and Pathways to Postsecondary Initiative
In addition to the center’s efforts, Center Executive Director Sybil Francis serves at the invitation of the governor as the chair of the Data and Graduation Committee of the Governor’s P-20 Council.
Dr. Parker is responsible for developing and guiding the center’s research agenda concerning education policy issues. In addition, she serves as a liaison with the community, providing information of interest to individuals and organizations involved in Arizona’s key education issues.
