Arizona Corporation Commission Election

On November 8th, Arizona will elect three new commissioners to the Arizona Corporation Commission, a state board that regulates electricity, water and other utility rates. 

The five candidates vying to fill the three vacancies are Republicans Robert Burns, Andy Tobin and Boyd Dunn and Democrats Bill Mundell and Tom Chabin.

Economic Development Academy of Arizona

The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) is working to help grow the state’s economic developers of tomorrow. 

In 2012, the organization launched a formal education program called the Economic Development Academy of Arizona where professionals can develop skills related to economic development at the local, regional and state level.
