Posted on November 17, 2020

One of the ways CFA makes an impact in the lives of Arizonans is by working with communities and leaders across the state to help them take on big challenges. Education is one of the top issues. CFA believes a good future for Arizonans starts with a good education.

Casa Grande ESD Superintendent JoEtta Gonzales leads team of school leaders working to develop systems aligned to city’s long-term goals for student achievement.

Meet JoEtta Gonzales, the superintendent of Casa Grande Elementary School District. JoEtta leads a team of school leaders who are committed to taking strategic steps to help the more than 6,500 students in their district achieve at the highest levels.

Through participation in CFA’s BTO Academy, JoEtta and leaders from the elementary school district are learning about instructional best practices, digging deep into how students learn, and gaining insights into what other successful school systems are doing. They are working together as a team to plan strategically and develop systems aligned to Casa Grande’s long-term goals for student achievement.

The BTO Academy provides the foundation that all school leaders need to come together to learn, process information, share ideas and think strategically to develop systems and structures that help every individual student learn and thrive.
