For the past decade, school districts across Arizona, Center for the Future of Arizona, and Arizona State University, have helped students to learn democracy by doing—elevating student voice, leadership, and civic learning through School Participatory Budgeting.
The School Participatory Budgeting: Building on 10 Years of Impact convening will bring together the community of SPB partners and supporters who have shaped and sustained this work.
We hope you will join us in honoring this milestone and reflecting on the collective impact of SPB.
In this convening, we will come together to:
- Celebrate 10 years of impact of SPB in Arizona
- Share key lessons learned from SPB partners
- Build skills and relationships across experience levels
- Share opportunities for continued engagement and collaboration
As an attendee, you can expect:
- Inspiring stories from students and educators advancing civic learning in schools
- Opportunities to connect with peers and partners
- Practical strategies to strengthen and sustain your process
