SPB Support

SPB Support

Center for the Future of Arizona (CFA) provides these free resources to support the adoption of School Participatory Budgeting (SPB) across the state, nation, and globe. However, we know that implementation can be easier with guidance and support. CFA partners with schools and districts across the state to design and implement SPB, and alongside our partners at Arizona State University (ASU PGI), provides additional training and technical assistance to educators, schools, and districts. We do this through:

  • Spreading the Word: We present at target conferences, summits, and other meetings across the state and nation to share about SPB and build champions for the process. We also work with local and national media outlets to highlight the work being done in Arizona.
  • Training and Professional Development: The SPB Institute provides professional development and training on implementation to build the capacity to pilot, scale, and sustain the SPB process.
  • Coaching and Coordination: For more support utilizing these resources and implementing the process, we provide mentorship, guidance, materials, and additional support through technical assistance that can include:
    • Access to Online Resource Hub
    • Coaching Calls
    • Office Hours
    • Vote Week Coordination & Support
    • Deep Dive Evaluation & Curated Reports
  • Professional Learning Community: Opportunities to engage with SPB partners across the state, attend professional development workshops, help create content, resources, and lesson plans, and speak at state, national, and international conferences.
